Halloween 2007

This year Maddie really got into Halloween. We had glow bracelets, and she had about 3 different jokes to tell... also the "So long farewell, I need to say goodnight" song from Sound of Music. I don't know where she learned that--MIMI-- anyway she would do that after Trick or treat and the Witches and Ghosts would start to go "oh, how cute. that's my favorite song. how old are you? Takes away from the scare factor that's for sure... That's why the voice modulator I was wearing under the mask came in handy.

October 2007 Our House

Finally after 2 years feeling like we lived here awhile. Just now trusting that Maddie isn't going to purposely grab things in the living room or study....

October 2007 Cornerstone Church Carnival

Maddie's 1st time at a big carnival. Her Karate class and playtime on the playground at Primrose School of Stone Oak have made her more brave. But pay attention to the great big yellow ladders and slides in background. She got about 1/2 way through it and couldn't get up the 10' Jacobs Ladder. the Carnie had to stop and climb through to get her and bring her back to the beginning. No biggie, until she wanted to get back on and we wouldn't let her. Let's just say we left right away.

Maddie and her artful ways

See what kind of mess she can get into today....Maybe a little dot art. Turning the Picture of Daddy to Uncle Jeffrey by giving the picture a gote'... Or maybe it's all those frogs. I mean there's Green, Baby, Mexican Chica, Prince, Freddie, Mr.Robinson, and Baby Krush and Nemo....

September 2006 Jeff & Hailey visit SA

Jeff and Hailey came down to spend the night. Still getting our house in order. But a working computer is all Jeff said he needs. Maddie is couple months shy of two in these pics.

Easter 2007 Houston

Easter at Mimi and Ski's house. Rained all night couldn't use the big back yard for the egg hunt, so we had to improvise. Little kids by the door way away from street. Maddie and her cousin Cadel had a free for all.... For such a tomboy, Maddie looks like a real girly girl... Is this the Frog that led to Maddie's obsession with Frogs. Probably!!
